Size Guide

Find your press-on nail size in a few minutes

Every 24-piece Nailees set includes 24 nails in 12 sizes, two of each. Each nail is numbered on the underside, so once you've found your sizes you can write them down and skip straight to applying next time. Most people use a run of neighbouring sizes across one hand, but every hand is different, so size each finger individually.

Method 1: hold the nail to your finger

  1. Push back your cuticle and wipe the nail.
  2. Hold a press-on over your natural nail. It should cover it from side to side without touching the skin on either edge.
  3. If it sits on the skin, go one size smaller; if it leaves a gap, go one size larger. When two sizes both seem to fit, choose the smaller one, as a nail that is too wide lifts first.
  4. Repeat for each finger and note the numbers.

Method 2: measure with tape

Lay a strip of clear tape across the widest part of each natural nail, mark both edges, then measure the width in millimetres. Compare the measurements with the nails in your set, or with the size chart on the product page where one is shown.

10-piece handmade sets

Our 10-piece sets come in sizes XS, S, M and L, with one nail for each finger. Choose your size on the product page before adding to cart, and check the size chart where one is shown.

Between sizes?

Choose the larger size and use a nail file to take a fraction off the sides. File in one direction with gentle strokes and check the fit as you go. A nail that is too small can't be made wider.

Shape and length

Short sets finish at or just past your fingertip and are the best choice for typing and everyday wear. Medium and long sets suit events. Almond and oval tips are the most forgiving on wider nail beds; square and coffin tips look sharpest on narrower ones.
